I'm someone who's passionately driven to help others in any way I can. I'm also fortunate to have an eclectic professional background. My main start was with 1932 Quarterly, a small literary journal devoted to publishing emerging writers and dedicated to Sylvia Plath, and led by a fierce and creative Editor-in-Chief. I worked with a bright team of managing editors who helped me realize my goals.

After the journal took a hiatus, I moved to DC to find new footing and community. I spent most of my time (when not bartending) volunteering with Planned Parenthood, hiking the Shenandoah, and raising my child. I went from bartending to working on the corporate restaurant side as a social media and guest services manager, to becoming a policy consultant for a nonprofit in DC.

Now, I want to go back to my writing roots and help others to share their voice and be heard.
